The top images (the Treehouse and the Kingdom) were drawn by hand with many 0.5mm Micron pens on pieces of paper 22 x 30 inches and they were not altered at all digitally. They are exactly the way I drew them, nearly perfect which says a lot because I always feel there is something that could be corrected. The Avalanche is a digital composite of the Treehouse and the Kingdom. When I drew the Kingdom after the Treehouse I made sure that the shape of the castle mimicked the negative space of the sky because I wanted them to be companion pieces hung up next to one another. I put the two together when I was making the background for my old website. I didn't think much of it before but once they were together I realized that it works as its own piece separate to the other two. Because there is so much going on in the image, most people do not pick up that it is composed of the same pieces.
The rest of the pieces are a combination of hand drawing and digital art.
