A Delicate Balance: The Kingdom

Originally drawn using Micron 0.5mm pens on watercolour paper (16.5 x 23.4 inches = A2 42 x 59.4cm)
I then scanned it and coloured it using Photoshop. The colours were inspired by the Studio Ghibli movies.

This was the second piece in the series that I drew, the first being the Treehouse. I started drawing this about 6 months after I had completed the Treehouse and the Micron pen drawing took about 150 hours to complete. The colour came together much quicker. I think it took only about 15 o so hours to complete.
